On the morning of June 26th, 2021, Nanogen Pharmaceutical Biotechnology Joint Stock Company - the manufacturer of the Nanocovax vaccine which is in the process of phase 3 clinical trials - was honored to welcome the Prime Minister of the Republic of Socialist Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh visited and worked at the company.
The visit went well and successfully when the content went straight to the problem that everybody is concerned about , which is the importance as well as the supply and demand of vaccines. Nanogen has clearly and transparently presented the nature of the Nanocovax vaccine, the results achieved, the direction of phase 3 and the production capacity of the company.
In the context that the Covid-19 pandemic threatens not only people's health but also the Vietnamese economy, the Prime Minister directed "The spirit is to speed up the clinical trial process. Instead of going every step slowly, we have to walk faster, we have to run. It’s like when the water is boiling, the house is on fire, we have to run, have to speed up." In addition, about the clinical trial, the Prime Minister emphasized that the Ministry of Health must work with Nanogen, cannot let the company do it alone. Therefore, Nanogen continues to accelerate the clinical trial of phase 3 of the Nanocovax vaccine while ensuring the science and effectiveness of the vaccine. Especially when the situation is forecasted that in September, there will be a global shortage of vaccines. Being able to actively produce vaccines in the country is highly appreciated and supported.
